Title: Ultrasound Technician General Description: Ultrasound Technician will have the responsibility to work with the Medical Director and the Program Director to provide excellent health care at two Life Choices Women’s Clinics (LCWC) and on the Hope Mobile Clinic. Requirements: Completion of an ARDMS-accredited Ultrasound training program. RDMS Certification in OB/GYN Sonography, and Basic Life Support (BLS) healthcare provider course. Our pregnancy clinics are currently licensed through our Medical Director, Sherry Gorslin RN, WHNP, B.C., who has over 20 years of experience in the medical field including obstetrics, labor and delivery. We are required to have a licensed medical professional in our office when services are provided. Through medical professionals like you, our pregnancy clinics offer women basic gynecological services and help mothers facing unplanned pregnancies free limited ultrasounds to confirm pregnancy, determine gestational age, viability of a pregnancy. Volunteer to be part of Life Choices Women’s Clinics medical team.
2. Volunteer Now
Without medical volunteers, our pregnancy centers cannot provide many of the vital life-affirming services currently offered to women facing unplanned pregnancies. Will you help ensure these services continue to be available at Choices Women’s Centers? Commit to volunteering one 4 hour shift a week. Volunteers are needed for:
- Medical Shift Coverage – As a medical center, the Pregnancy Center needs a medical professional at our center during all hours of operation. If you’re a RN or nurse practitioner, we need you.
- Ultrasonography – When a woman considers abortion, seeing her baby through an ultrasound often saves the baby’s life. RDMS technicians and RNs trained in ultrasonography are needed to perform ultrasounds. Your help provides a life-saving image to women considering abortion.
