St. Gianna Beretta Molla was an Italian pediatrician and mother. She developed a fibroma in her uterus while pregnant with her fourth child. Molla refused an abortion and a hysterectomy in order to preserve the child’s life. She prioritized her child’s life over her own and died one week after giving birth, on the morning of Easter Saturday, 28 April, 1962.

Casa St. Gianna is a 4-bedroom home in a quiet North Phoenix neighborhood, providing women with a safe place to continue their pregnancies and to prepare for their futures. We hear the words “I’m not in a good situation right now.” Sometimes life gets overwhelming, especially for a single mom with no family support and nowhere to turn for help. Housing cost increases have been hardest on single mothers and women with small children. That is where we step in! As pro-life people of faith, we can help women to choose life AND to move forward confidently and safely into a stable future, starting at St. Casa Gianna.

From housing assistance to baby supplies and emergency essentials, we look forward to meeting both physical and spiritual needs. Through your generous donations it helps us provide housing support, and hope to those who need it most. We do not have any urgent needs now but have many ongoing needs.  Thank you for thinking of us and our moms at Casa St. Gianna.
